Si vous ne connaissez que 'Le Cri ' et 'La Madonne' mais encore plus si vous connaissez déjà bien son oeuvre (j'avais eu la chance de voir récemment le musée Munch à oslo) vous ne serez pas déçu par l'intérêt et la qualité de cette exposition qui ne présente que des oeuvres de collectionneurs privés donc rarement présentées.

Beaucoup de lithographies magnifiques!!! A mon avis c'est vraiment dans ce medium qu'il a été le plus novateur et le plus inventif. Les couleurs sont trés harmonieuses, la veinure du bois est visible, trés beau travail!

Il ne faut pas oublier qu'à la fin du 19ème siècle la Norvège était encore aux marches de l'Europe et qu'il est assez remarquable qu'un artiste d'un pays assi éloigné et à l'époque très puritain ait pu produire une oeuvre autant en accord et même parfois en avance sur les grands courants de la peinture européenne (expressionisme, symbolisme, art nouveau) mais aussi trés personnelle.

J'étais très curieux de voir comment Tom Ford avait pu adapter visuellement un roman si cérébral.
Je n'ai pas été déçu même si par moment il ajoute un peu trop de glamour, c'est un défaut mineur et je ne peux lui en tenir rigueur car la mise en scène, la lumière, les acteurs, la musique, chaque détail sont parfaits.
Il a su rendre l'histoire plus animée sans perdre l'esprit de l'oeuvre initiale.

3 - La déco devient tout de suite plus zen et douce (toujours plus agréable d'installer sur une cheminée un bouddha drapé multicolore méditant plutôt qu'un Christ en croix sur le point de mourir!) - Home decoration made easy and stress-free (always more pleasant to see a meditating Buddha on a mantel piece than a bloodied Christ about to die!).

5 - On obtient un troisième oeil au milieu du front bien pratique pour la vue de loin (attention à déconseilelr aux myopes car les lunettes à trois verrres sont encore assez rares) - You get instantly a third eye in the middle of the forehead, quite the thing for a better vision (not recommended to myopics as 3 glass-glasses are still few)


6 - Plus besoin de lire la Bible (qui l'a lu en entier?) ni le Coran (qui l'a lu en entier?) ni le Talmud (qui l'a lu en entier?), vous pouvez par contre vous lancer dans la lecture de la vie de Bouddha en BD (8 volumes tout de même) par le pape du manga Japonais Osame Tezuka, non seulement c'est beau, c'est drôle parfois mais en plus c'est super intéressant!  - No need to read the bible (who ever read the whole thing?) nor the Coran (who ever read the whole thing?) nor the Talmud (who ever read the whole thing?), now you can read the Life of Buddha (8 books) by Manga specialist Osamu Tezuka, its not only beautiful but soemtimes funny and most of the time really interesting!

7 - Ni le paradis ni l'enfer n'existent plus, bonne nouvelle! ils avaient l'air très chiants de toute façon (pour des raisons différentes) - Paradise nor hell exist anymore, Great news! they both sounded terribly boring (for different reasons!)


8 - Avez-vous déjà entendu parler de terrosistes bouddhistes???!!! - Have you ever heard of Buddhist terrorists???!!!


9 - Vous avez un super sujet de discussion pour votre prochain dîner!! - What a great topic to be discussed at your next dinner party!


10 - La 10ème raison est plus une mise en garde qu'une véritable raison: vous risquez de vous réincarner en fourmi ou en arbre donc réflécissez à deux fois avant d'écraser cetet fourmi ou de pisser contre un tronc d'arbre!! - The 1Oth reason is really more a warning than anything else: you migth reincarnate yourself as an ant or a tree next time so think twice before stepping over that ant or taking a pee against that tree!!

Cela ne désemplit pas et il faut souvent attendre un peu (10 minutes) mais cela vaut vraiment la peine: Aki ne sert que de la cuisine simple traditionnelle Japonaise; les Okonomyaki sont des sortes de crèpes salées; il y a les Edamame et les épinards en entrée, les don, le riz au curry est super, pareil pour les nouilles sautées, ...

Rien que d'écrire je salive.

Encore une fois cela montre la capacité de l'oeuvre protéiforme de Shakespeare à inspirer des oeuvres modernes. Les paroles de shakespeare sur le rock moderne de la dernière chanson 'Pyramus and Thisby' fonctionnent parfaitement!

La mise en scène est inventive, l'usage des lumières et des costumes au maximum de ce qu'un petit film indépendant au budget limité peut accomplir. Certains tableaux sont des hommages à 'Pink Narcissus' ou Pierre et Gilles très réussis.

Le film date de 2008 mais ne sort qu'à présent en France. Il se joue actuellement au Nouveau Latina, courrez-y!

Synopsis from IMDB:
After his eccentric teacher casts him as Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Timothy stumbles upon a recipe hidden within the script to create the plays magical, purple love-pansy.

Armed with the pansy, Timothys fading spirit soars as he puckishly imposes a new reality by turning much of his narrow-minded town gay, beginning with the rugby-jock of his dreams. Ensnaring family, friends and enemies in this heart-wrenching chaos, Timothy forces them to live his kind of life for themselves. The course of true love never did run smooth, but by the end of the film (based on director Tom Gustafsons prolific short film Fairies) the bumpy ride comes to a conclusion.
